Antelope Island
We decided to buy the girls all "adventure shoes" (not so cute tennis shoes) at payless and took the girls for an adventure. It was fun, they had a blast climbing all of the rocks with minimal whining. Brain tried to teach the girls how to skip rocks.Ava was in much more of a posing mood today We even saw some buffalo on the way out. This last picture is really for Jen, because what is an adventure without some sort of animal carcass....
Ava's new pose with the mouth closed and smiling is killing me! That kid has more sas than I have ever seen. Looks like the adventure shoew were put to good use.
What a great idea taking the kids to the island!! I don't think we ever took Liv and Lex there...I think with as much time as I spent there brine shrimping; I never wanted to smell or see that lake unless I had to. I do however appreciate pictures of you guys at the lake.
Dad took us on a tour of the island many years ago at this time of year and it was great. We ate KFC in one of the picnic pavilions and it wasn't buggy at all. Your pictures make me want to go again. I thought it was really fun out there.

That looks like too much fun! And the island is bearable this time of year, not so hot and buggy.
Ah, beava la diva! She do be a poser!
I haven't been to Antelope Island for a hundred years, but it looks like nothing has changed. Still not much out there.
I do appreciate the dead carcass though.
P.S.
It occurs to me that if no one disturbs the carcass it will someday be a very cool fossil find.
Also, I need some adventure shoes too!
Hey, I bought some adventure shoes yesterday. Why didn't anyone invite me?
You know that I do appreciate a good picture of a carcass.
